OP made a second post in the advice subreddit where she goes into more detail...apparently in the past they’ve lent his dad $3k and he has never paid them back... and that he never calls her, so he literally just called to make small talk and ask her for money...and that the sister is constantly texting her now trying to “hang out” which she has never asked to do in the past... these people are awful.There's so many ways that could backfire, and he's lucky she only hung up on him after she said no. I for one get super cranky when woken up, to the point where I cursed out a telemarketer for calling me in the middle of the day when I worked overnights.
