I had to come back to your comment, because yeah, the more I scrolled, the more it hit me that the whole process of getting to the point in your life where you end of asking Reddit for advice on how to “politely tell someone that they’re a fucking idiot”, probably means they really put the effort in.I'd argue that stupidity is more so the result of being incapable of considering the things you don't know or understand rather than ignorance, which imo isn't so different from lack of knowledge (although I recognize the connotations the word has).
