I didn't think much of the story and I don't think I even finished season 1 but the level of detail that went into the alternate reality was impressive. Advances in technology, social classes, concentration camps and execution of "imperfect citizens" in America, Hitler Youth instead of the Boy Scouts etc. It was also interesting that some parallels could be drawn between the USA today.
