I think China has less control over their people as those people gain knowledge and wealth. I'm aware of Hong Kong's history, but I still think China's I ability to keep it under control is a indicator of larger trends within. That said, these are just my observations. I don't claim to have inside info. I have normally held the belief that trying to control a population by limiting their access to information is a losing game, especially in the digital age, since anyone who really wants the truth can find it anyway.

This is so right. So many that may have been on the fence or willing to vote for Hillary while holding their nose likely bailed on that news, which turned out to be nothing in the end.
