But I read something about how they were paranoid that they were "double agents" or, I don't even know.I'd also be paranoid about that but there are thousands of ways to solve the problem of spies that don't include enslaving your own army... Any semi-competent country has enough mechanisms to defend itself from spies during wars no matter who they are.
